The 15th Dark & White Summer Evening MBO/Trailquest Series
We’re now only a week away from the start of this years summer evening trailquest/mbo series – with 6 events in total in the series with your best 3 scores to count in the overall league, round one is next Wednesday 6th May based from Hartington Hall, Hartington in the Central Peak District. The riding in this area is in moderately hilly, classic White Peak open/scenic countryside with a decent mix of very quiet off-road and country lanes – we doubt you’ll see more than half a dozen other people when you’re out.
Subsequent rounds in May are on the 13th (Tideswell Sports Complex) and the 20th (The Strutts Centre, Belper). The final three rounds this year are on the 8th, 15th & 22nd of July – again all Wednesday evenings with each venue to be announced one month beforehand.
Each event has a two hour time limit and you can enter as solos or pairs in a variety of age categories.
We do make every effort with these summer evening events to make them as relaxed and as laid back as possible but as always with trailquests/mbo’s we design the courses to be both enjoyable and challenging for all abilities – in other words you make them as easy or as tough as you like!
**NEW** for this year: there will be a small number of compulsory controls on each course. Just to add a bit of interest….!
Registration opens at each event 5.00pm and you can start riding at anytime up to 7.00pm.
